I took a hiatus, people, but now i'm back!!!... for this post.
As September comes to a close, its time to look back at the summer and recap some of the new flowers in the garden this year! Above is a gallery of the highlight photos.
I have not had a chance to test any new products over the summer. So for now, just enjoy some garden shots!
This winter, however, is stacking up to be a great testing year! Stay tuned!
I have been farming every.damn.day for the past two years; between indoor and outdoor gardens. As I head into my third consecutive year of continual gardening, I am as excited as ever! I'm happy to report that seed spending this year was kept under $100... barely.
Here is the list of new seeds this year that you can follow along with:

If you have a plant you are curious about, but don't have the space or green thumb... leave a comment below and I will get to growing it! #GrowVicariously
There is so much going on in the grow as we reach the finale of the 2018 into 2019 Winter Garden! Most of the lettuces are going to seed. I am a seed saver, but with the unrealistic growing conditions & current surplus of seeds (at addiction level), these plants are going to the compost.
Enjoy the truck load of pictures and let me know what you think in the comments below!
WOW! February is flying by so fast that if I don't post now, I'll miss it! Since the last post I disinfected everything!! There was a nasty bacteria/virus/fungus that was ripping through the soil-based plantings #MyBad.
Through a direct and light application of Neem oil (what I had on-hand) and rub down with isopropyl alcohol... things are back on track.
We are on our 7th harvest of lettuce. We are now reaping the benefits of the culantro (see photos). I cant recommend culantro enough. So much punch vs so little space needed. There are fresh flowers now too, but not enough for a bouquet yet. Probably 1 more month till at bouquet status. Jimmy peppers are large & plump. Ready for them to turn!
The disinfecting/cleaning left me with extra space for start flats. We have two flats prepared and ready for the new seeds (reviews/tests coming). Some of the 18-19 winter indoor garden plants will be in our garden for 2019. I also set up a starts-rack for germination rate testings (not pictured). #NothingBudTheTruth
Again from the last February update, the plants are doing all the work and i'm just there to do maintenance.

Things are picking up from the last update! The change in water really helped get the plants out of their nutrient shock. Besides lightly watering, only a little pruning is required here and there for upkeep. I am spending my time messing around on the Tik Tok app (@PDXhydro) and planning the summer garden.

Winter garden is picking up as we transition from veg to flower and 2018 to 2019.
December New Things:
I finished the isolation chamber for my Budzai! Added six new pots as well as upgraded 4 in the soil area. Added the TNB bottle (of sugar and yeast) for a CO2 boost. #DIY
The tubs are responding well to the air stones because the algae is clearing up. I also added a diluted solution of vinegar which helped with the surface buildup.
Lots of lost plants in the kratky tubs, but where there was death... there is new net cups filled with seeds and coco coir. Trying Coco to experiment like Jeb.
My second ballast (digital 1500 W) errors out so I switched back to the 600 w LED. Yay for power bills but I do miss the power! In the very near future, I will be upgrading both lights to a new system. The new system will allow me to test the Emerson Effect as well as (hopefully) lower power bills cause GOD DAMN! Reviews will be coming.
There is a lot going on and watering takes forever now... but its really fun and i'm learning a ton. Cant beat 80°F, 40% RH, and Full Sun in the middle of December!
