Pros: Fast growing, dense, high-yielding, potent
Cons: Brittle canes (difficulty super-cropping), 50% germination rate
Genetics, Genetics, Genetics— Royal Queen Seeds - Diesel Auto has them all! I was given two seeds to try. Thankfully, one of the two sprouted (as shown in the pictures above). Instantly, the strength in the genetics comes to focus with rapid growth and overall lush development. The leaves are a rich green with a slight susceptibility to light-bleaching; I do mean slight.
This was started 100% indoors under a wattage ramp-up of lights: LED, 315, and now DE 1000W HPS. Her home is a 10 gal fabric pot using re-used soil from the 2019 summer grow. For nutrients, I am using and following the Emerald Harvest 3-part nutrient system. In addition, I am using Dr. MariJane root probiotic which I notice has recharged the used soil back to health!

Emerald Harvest 3-Part Nutrient System
MariJane Root Probiotic (Upcoming Feb. 15, 2019)
This is an on-going review because this product is currently in-use. I will update this post after harvest for a full report on this product's effectiveness into final stages, as well as any issues/alterations that may come up.
Pros: Decent germination rate, powerful scent, unique coloring
Cons: Low yield
The Seedsman Pink Kush Auto 30:1 CBD is a tight, low-growing plant that packs a scent-full punch. Out of 3 seeds started, 2 made it to harvest. I was fortunate enough to start these inside and finish outside. Temps dropped 10 degrees at night to 50's yielding a deep rich purple reminiscent of grand daddy purp. Two plants rendered just under 8 grams @ 10% RH.
The effects are mild. The term "diet weed" is very true; #dietweed. There was no psychoactive principle to the high. I'd say there was a relaxing state to the high... but I could have just been relaxed. #NoBadDays
This was a fun strain that didn't take up too much space. The effects and flavors are decent. If i had to do things again, I would wait for a non-auto version. This would allow for a greater yield which would be enough to infuse into edibles on a larger scale. This consumption method, I feel, would really demonstrate the potency and purpose of the strain.
Cons: Zero germination
Here is a first; a zero-leaf rating. The seeds did not crack using 2 different methods; direct and paper towel. This happens, so I don't hold it against the breeder... but wait for the M2 is my recommendation as M1 has low germination rates.
Pros: Germination rate, smell, auto-height
Cons: Low Gram/Seed Yield
From seed to harvest, this has been a quick and wonderful strain to have around. The auto characteristics kept this plant's height manageable within a kratky tub, though I wish it produced a bit higher yeild. The smell characteristics were potent and ever-present. If I left the garage door open, the kitchen would quickly smell with a sweet, berry-lemon terpene profile that finishes with a true-to-name strong citrus.
This plant was used as a seed cultivation mother. I combined with a slightly taller varietal with a similar terpene profile to hopefully keep the smell characteristics but increase the auto-height.
Pros: High germination rate, fast root development
Cons: Price, packaging
This will be an on going review throughout the plants life-cycle. Currently, I am reviewing this product at the initial seed germination stage: 10/26/18. The rating, pictures, and review will add/change as the plants develop to properly reflect all aspect of the plant. That being said, I solidly give this 4 leafs out of 5 at this time.
The seed stage is the most exciting to me, across all plants, because it's the beginning of a new plant adventure/experiment/learning opportunity. These seeds popped extremely fast and are looking strong at only a week into planting! I soaked the seeds in a 48 hour bath using Bio-Fizz (click here for that review.) Between the genetics of this plant and the bio-fizz soak, these plants are off to the races! These plants will be bonzai experiments as I love both things! The inspiration comes from an Instagram account called budzai (clever) who is doing this exact thing! I will be in communication with Budzai on Instagram to achieve something like what they do (check them out seriously!!)
Cons so far are out of Dynasty's control for the most part. Oregon law makes it ridiculous to buy seeds, ($10 a seed - max 10 seeds a day). I get why they have the law that way, because if it were more affordable I would get every strain available in the greater metro area!
Beyond pricing, I'm not a fan of the "one time use" packaging. The packaging is very shiny and "ooo ahhh", but I did not purchase because of it; I bought because of this plant image. The inside, padded re-sealable packaging of the seeds is great as I will reuse over and over for other seeds. My recommendation is to move to a recyclable outer package.
