December is just around the corner?! Well then, here is a present for you: #DIYGardenTip
New products can be great, but repurposing can be far more rewarding. I have been using water bottles for years as the preferred seedling watering device. I choose this because I can control the flow by opening or closing the top as well as by how hard the bottle is squeezed.
To make your own: Check the back of your cupboards or head to your local thrift store. Fill the bottle with water or nutrient water. Place upside down making sure the tip makes contact with your media... and that's it! If the bottle empties too quick, partially close the tip. If the bottle empties too slowly, you can widen the opening using a nail.
